Reverend Mary Madison serves Iowa House District 31 and brings a wealth of experience as an Ordained Minister, School Counselor, Educator, and Community Volunteer. She and her husband, Dr. L. Keith Madison, have called West Des Moines home for over 20 years. They are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to one delightful granddaughter.

Mary is a strong advocate for fundamental rights, including the right to vote, and is deeply committed to ensuring that every person’s humanity is respected and upheld.

As a State Representative, she actively engages in community listening sessions to better understand the concerns of her constituents and bring their voices into her legislative work. She takes great pride in representing West Des Moines and the portion of Dallas County in her district, celebrating the region’s diversity and shared values. Mary remains dedicated to making Iowa an even better place to live for all.
